The Latest

Kat is finding great joy in continuing to make music while raising a bright and active toddler.  Ida Lee is 2 1/2, and singing almost as much as mama.

Kat recently released a brand new CD, Townie, and is proud to share new material with fans and friends.  The third of her solo releases in six years, it's a warm, raw and poignant set recorded live in the living room of producer Stuart Gunter over a long weekend in summer '08.  Joining Kat are husband Nicholas Polys (The Jugbusters, Time Wave Zero) on banjo, old friend John Priestley (The Orderlies, Schwa) on mandolin and guitar, and a rock solid rhythm section in Mark Goldstein and Stuart Gunter, well known Charlottesville players, producers and all-around great guys.  There are four brand new originals, a new hypnotic version of favorite single 'Long Time', two covers and two traditionals.  We hope you'll go to Kat's CDs page right away to order!

Kat's favorite time of year is on its way!  A full season of outdoor performances, festivals, wineries--sweet.
Please check out the GIGS page regularly for updates.
